Before you begin,
a few things to know.
Does it work on every manga website?+
KOMOKI currently focuses on Japanese manga pages in Chrome desktop. Image, Canvas and embedded reader implementations vary, and some pages may not be recognized. Use the free allowance to check your usual sites first.
How long does translation take?+
Time varies with image size, text volume, recognition difficulty, network conditions and service load. The floating panel shows the actual elapsed time. Large outlined text and complex backgrounds may take longer.
Where are manga images sent?+
When enabled, the necessary manga images and text are sent to cloud services for recognition and translation. Compatibility mode crops the visible manga area locally before upload. For details, see our privacy policy。
Why are some words missing or translations unnatural?+
Unusual fonts, white outlines, complex backgrounds and small text can affect recognition and translation. Compare with the original and try again; use the glossary to adjust character names. The demo does not guarantee the same results on every page.
Will I be charged when my free allowance runs out?+
No. Wait until the allowance resets at 00:00 Taiwan time (UTC+8) the next day. Paid features are not yet available; check the extension's Plans tab for the latest status.
Should I refresh manga pages after updating the extension?+
After updating the files, reload KOMOKI on Chrome's extension management page and refresh your manga page. If an old window reports a disconnected service, close it and reopen the extension.
